Mayur was founded in October 2012 by Dev Pathak.

Dev originally born in a tiny village of Nepal called Piple; with the population of 70 to 80 people. He left the village at early age in search for brighter future, on the process ended up in India, there he got job at an Indian restaurant where he got to explore various parts of India ultimately there he found the magic of Indian Spices and it’s flavors. With similar cultural background he fell in love with the place and especially the food.

He mastered the art of Hospitality, he learnt about how to make customers make it feel like they are at home. Not everyday is a sunshine but he made sure your day at Mayur was special. Between travelling to Nepal and India, he got married and had three sons.

His adventure continued, he then moved to this wonderful country Northern Ireland, brought the family over and after many years opened Mayur and the rest is History.
